Many Dangers, Little Money: Strategic Choices During the Interwar Years

Earlier this week the US Army War College, Carlisle, held its XXIV Annual Strategy Conference on the theme of ‘The Future of American Landpower’. While the majority of panels were of a contemporary nature the first dealt with strategic choices during the inter-war years. It brought together a group of acknowledge experts with Professors Robert Citino (University of North Texas), Michael Neiberg (US Army War College), Tami Davis Biddle (US Army War College) and Conrad Crane (US Army Heritage and Education) looking at the the experience of Germany, France, Britain and America during the inter-war period respectively. Very much worth a listen.
